Do you crave the taste and texture of a delicious cheeseburger but want it to be plant-based? Look no further! We’ll show you how to make juicy vegan cheeseburgers using VEGGOFIX MEATY plant-based mince. We recommend to cook the veggie burgers in the oven, so you’ll have more time to enjoy your friends’ company.
Before we dive into the recipe, let’s talk about the benefits of using VeggoFix Meaty plant-based mince. Not only this veggie mince has lower levels of saturated fat than traditional meat, but also provides a high protein content (more than 20 g/100 g cooked mince).
Plus, preparation and cooking of burgers can take less than 15 minutes, if you choose to fry them in a pan. More, no refrigerator, boiling water or patience is required. Just our tasty plant-based mince mix, a glass of water, a bit of oil and a pan, oven or grill.
Juicy Vegan Cheeseburgers
recipe for 4-8 servings
Ingredients
4-8 veggie burgers patties: 200 g VEGGOFIX MEATY mince mix, 250 ml water, 2 tbsp oil
vegan American or Cheddar cheese
vegan brioche bun
burger sauce (2 parts vegan mayonnaise, 1 part ketchup, 1 part Dijon mustard)
caramelized onion, chives, red bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, pepper
Preparation
Start with preparing the burger patties. Mix 200g VeggoFix Meaty with 250ml water and 2 tbsp oil. You can add 30g blended caramelized onion and 30g blended red bell peper into the mixture if you want to make them extra juicy. Shape 8 mince balls.
Grab a baking sheet and pour oil and any condiments you like on the sheet like salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place a mince ball in the oil and smash it. Use a small piece of parchment paper so the burger does not stick to your spatula. Put some caramelized onion, chives, burger sauce, vegan cheese and half of a bun on top of the burger patty. Do the same for all burger patties.
All goes into a preheated oven with heat from the bottom for 15 minutes. That’s it!
