Delicious Porky Cheeseburger
recipe for 4 servings
Ingredients
High protein vegan patties: 200 g VEGGOFIX PORKY Mince mix, 250 ml water, 2 tbsp oil
sesame buns
grilled (vegan) hard cheese
burger slaw (white cabbage, red cabbage, radishes, light mayonnaise, apple vinegar, salt, pepper)
ketchup & (vegan) cocktail sauce
Preparation
Add the entire content of a VEGGOFIX PORKY Mince package (200g dry mix) to a bowl and mix it with 250ml (a cup) of water. There is no need to wait after adding water to the VeggoFix Porky Mince dry mix. It’s ready to be cooked right away!
Shape the mixture into four big burger patties. The patties should be as thick as your finger or slightly wider then the buns. As mentioned before, there is no need to leave the patties to rest before frying.
Pour 1-2 tbsp of oil in a frying pan and fry the patties for 6-12 min at medium temperature. For best results, flip the patties when they are golden brown.
About 2 minutes before the patties are done you put 1 slice of cheese on top of each burger patties. Then you add 1 tsp of water in the pan and cover the pan with a lid. This way the steam from the water will melt the cheese.
While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger slaw from finely cut white cabbage (3/4 parts), cabbage (1/4 part) and radishes. Add apple vinegar, salt, pepper, and light mayonnaise to your liking. Knead the cabbage and mix the other ingredients and stir it well.
Now that your patties are done it’s time to assemble 4 porky cheeseburgers as seen in the video bellow. Sesame bun, ketchup, VeggoFix Porky patties with melted cheese on top, burger slaw, burger sauce, sesame bun.
And voila! Delicious porky cheeseburgers for you!
